Do I need any qualifications to enrol to the courses?
You do not need any specific qualification to enrol onto any of our courses however we will test you with a simple literacy test to ensure that you have a good understanding of the English language
Do I sit exams at the end of my course?
Dependent on what course you choose to take, you may have exams at the end of the course. Dental nursing and post graduate courses will have 2 external examinations that you have to pass to complete the qualification whereas Access to nursing qualification is assignment based and therefore you progress through the course by completing the assignments.
Can I pay in instalments?
There are some courses that carry the option of spreading payment over a number of months and years to make sure that the monthly payments are affordable. You will be advised if these options are available on your selected course.
What is the student Hub area?
This area is full of resources, information, learning content and videos to assist you during your course studies. You will also find live vacancies available on certain courses to assist you in getting employment. As a Harriet Ellis student, you have full unrestricted access to the student hub for your duration of your studies and thereafter you will be allocated a username and password on your enrolment.
Can I work part time?
Yes, the courses are part time so you are able to choose the hours that you work whether it is full time or part time. The online option gives greater flexibility as you can study as your own pace and fit in the studies with a schedule that suits you.
Can I continue to study once I am qualified?
Harriet Ellis has further post graduate courses that you can continue studying to further your knowledge and qualifications. Please ask for more details.
How do I enrol?
You can either book online or over the phone with a debit/credit card through our secure booking process, we don’t store your card details. If card safety still concerns you, you can use PayPal or transfer from bank to bank. You can contact one of the sales advisors and they would be happy to assist.
How often are the classes?
We run classes weekly and fortnightly. The weekly classes run from 6:30pm -9pm and the fortnightly classes run on a Saturday from 9:30am-3pm. If you choose an online option you have access around the clock.
Can I study online without having to attend class?
You can if you have enrolled to an online course as our online platform is designed to offer an excellent learning experience. If you have enrolled to a classroom course but can’t attend the lessons you can transfer to the Online course for a small admin fee.
