What is an apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships mix on-the-job training with online based learning through our online platform supported by our Industry leading Dental Educationalists who will meet, visit and support you through your time with Harriet Ellis.
Apprenticeships provide you with the qualification and skills required to work within the field of a Dental Nurse. As an Apprentice you earn whilst you learn, giving you the opportunity to start your career straight away.

We will give you information, advice and guidance so that you can get the most out of your Apprenticeship journey from Start to Finish with our designated Apprenticeship Teams support.
You will work towards:
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Dental Nursing
Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths (where applicable)
When joining an apprenticeship with Harriet Ellis, you will get:
High Quality Training – a minimum of 30 hours per week on the job training
Wages – ‘earn while you learn’, an average salary of £200 per week depending on the practice, the person’s age and number of hours worked
Holiday pay – entitled to a minimum of 20 days per year
Qualification – you will achieve a nationally recognised qualification and become a GDC registered Dental Nurse
Career progression – excellent progression opportunities in the dental field; through completing post registration Dental Nursing courses or other courses within the Dental profession
Increased earning potential – when you complete your qualification, you will get a marked salary increase
To be aged 16+ years old
Ideally have Grade C and above or equivalent in GCSE English and Maths
3 Years EU residency
To be in employment and able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
